"I did this photo shoot in Moscow while visiting the city for a Neverland premiere. They weren't sure if the cover would get the approval from Men's Health in the US. Maybe I didn't seem buff enough. But I guess they were ok with it and now I will be on the news stand all over Russia...yeah so healthy right now." Nicolas Müller

Saturday started off with promising conditions. Everything came together on a perfect blue bird day after a few days of heavy snow fall in Portes du Soleil. The camel toe jump which had been shaped a week earlier was waiting to be dusted off and deflowered. We brought in the helicopter from Verbier (Heli Alps) to get a third angle but also to help out the riders by allowing them to focus their energy on stomping some big things instead of hiking endlessly. Eight people made it happen. Romain deMarchi, Jules Reymond, and JP Solberg, together with two photographers Howzee and Ahriel Povic and Absinthe Filmers, Eric, Vlady and Brusti. Good vibes on the hill helped bring it all together. Around noon everything was ready and the helicopter took off with David Vladyka filming from the bird. JP lead the way and among other things, brought his double corked trick from last year to the big leagues. The resulting photos that you will be peeping in the mags next winter will blow your mind… and the film shots worked out, too.

It's official. After months of rumors of one of the heaviest sponsor moves of the season we can announce that Nicolas Müller has signed a multi year deal with Nike snowboarding (boots and outerwear) and stays on Burton Snowboards! Nicolas Müller: 'After Nike snowboarding approached me I was granted access to the company and saw that their ideas and values that they stand for are in par with mine (www.considereddesign.com). Even though Nike is a global company, their snowboard program is kept core and rider driven. We have common views and I feel that I can bring in a lot of my ideas not just from a design point of view but also from an ethical standpoint. I saw that they realized that it's all about the athletes health and sustainability and not about the short term victories. I'm very motivated to enter a new chapter in my career and even more stoked to keep riding for the company that makes the best snowboards in the world - Burton.' Bobby Meeks - Nike snowboarding marketing: 'I always admired Nicolas' riding. It's rare to see a rider with so much soul on the mountain. I'm very proud to have Nicolas on our team.' Nicolas and Bobby - it's a done deal      copyright Frode Sandbech
